About
SKATEORNOT™ launched it's BETA version of the site in August 2004. By
Labor Day weekend early that next month, SKATEORNOT™ went live to the world
with it's heart set on ONE WORD: COMMUNITY. Without financial backing
from large
media companies or the endorsement by established skateboard professionals, Eric B.
slowly grew the SON community into one where over 80 visiting countries began participating on a daily basis.
It was, and continues to
be, a grass roots campaign for and by skateboarders.

Eric B. holds two Bachelor's of Arts in Behavioral Science and Culture
Anthropology from San Jose State University. "It only seems fitting
to be able to take part in skateboarding's culture with a carefully trained
eye" he says. "I love skateboarding and I love it's culture. Put
the two of those things together and you have the
SKATEORNOT™ Community."

DJ, Rob Cravens, works closely with SKATEORNOT
Radio to hand pick each song streamed for your listening enjoyment. A
one-time skateboarder, turned DJ, Rob grew up collecting and buying rare punk
music, straight edge hardcore, thrash, metal, indie rock, hip-hop, electronic
music and more. SKATEORNOT Radio hosts
"Rob's Playlist" which features music from ALL genres. Rob grew up in
Reno, NV and spent time in Lake Tahoe, CA before moving to Seattle, WA- where he
now resides. Rob is a resident DJ and promoter for a 5 year strong
weekly breakbeat night at Club
Contour in downtown Seattle. We're excited to work with him and look forward
to further developing SKATEORNOT Radio.

Lindsey is a little woman with a big mouth and a lot to
say. By day she works in marketing, by night she helps out with site. Lindsey
does not like to be put in a box, but for the purposes of this bio, her
signature is curly hair, quick wit and an overabundance of clumsiness. She loves
pop culture, old stuff, Diet Coke, being outside, being tan, magazines, making
things pretty, and shopping of any kind. She has been known to
skateboard around Greenlake in the Seattle, WA area.

Graphic Designer extraordinaire, LZ123, provides us with
many of our T-Shirt designs along with our branding strategies. He works
as an independent consultant out of Portland, Oregon and his list of past and
present clients include Savier, Nike, Monsieur-T, Cal's Pharmacy and the Department of
Skateboarding. Inno.

Benjie
G. (BNG) joins us as field photographer and Northern Californian
representative. BNG combines his years of knowledge in the industry
with his love for photography. Having "backyard" access to past
events like "Ugly
Winners" and the Enjoi Premier, BNG holds it down for us in a big
way.
